Challenge
The Municipality needed more than a conventional website. Citizens needed a digital route to services, while the customer-service office needed operational workflows behind those requests.
Responsibility
I led the engagement end-to-end through PROMA: commercial engagement, requirements, UX/UI direction, architecture, custom development, mobile delivery, integrations, deployment, hosting, staff training, support and project management.
Approach
Connect public-facing services to customer-service workflows, supported by staff training, hosting and ongoing support.
Architecture & implementation
A custom PHP CMS built from scratch provided Arabic/English content management, registered-user accounts, municipal news/publications, electronic service requests and administration tools. Citizen submissions flowed into a backend workflow used by the Municipality customer-service office. SMS was integrated through Etisalat and the solution ran on PROMA-managed infrastructure.
Android and iOS applications were also delivered and published.
Outcome
The AED 64,600 engagement delivered a working municipal digital-service channel across web and mobile rather than a static information site.
Evidence & supporting material
Historical proposal and commercial records, production screenshots, registration/publications views and mobile captures.
